Career Speaker Series

JA Career Speaker Series Live Panel Events: Virtual

  Where: Virtual
 Time Investment: 1 Hour per Month

JA of Wisconsin is hosting a series of monthly JA Career Speaker Series virtual panels throughout the 23-24 school year for students in grades 7-12. Each panel will feature four professionals, three speakers and a moderator. Each speaker will tell their career story, share wisdom and inspiration with students to “dream big”, followed by 15 minutes for questions from the students.

JA Financial Literacy Courses Here to Help

New Wisconsin Law Mandates Financial Literacy Courses for High Schools

Wisconsin recently became the 24th state in the country to enact a law requiring high school graduates to complete a semester-long course in financial literacy. Wisconsin schools can fulfill this mandate with a semester-long curricula offered by Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.

JA Financial Literacy, part of the JA High School Experience courses, is a one-semester, teacher-led course that equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills.

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin provides volunteers with training that is simple and relatable; programs that are engaging and fun; and a classroom full of eager kids ready to learn from you!

As a JA volunteer, you will inspire kids to achieve a more fulfilling career and life by contributing your professional insights and personal experiences to the programs you teach.
